OnePlus is one of the best smart phone manufacturer in the market today. It has released unveiled its latest smart phone on 14th October 2020. OnePlus released the all new 5G smart phone OnePlus 8T 5G. OnePlus 8T is probably the lightest flagship smartphone ever. OnePlus 8T gives you a fast, smooth and clean smart phone experience. This phones comes with the Oxygen OS running Android 11.

DESIGN

The OnePlus 8T features an aluminium frame. It also has a glass back with flat edges which makes it easier to access data at the corners of the screen.

The back of the phone has a glass cover and weighs only 195gms and fits comfortably in your hands.

DISPLAY

OnePlus 8T 5G has a 6.55 inch display when measured from corner to corner. The display is the FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels with pixel density of 402 pixels per inch. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz. OnePlus also claimed that the refresh rate has been bumped up to 240Hz for better touch response.

It also has 1100 nits brightness which makes it very easy to work in bright sunlight. It also has reading mode, night mode and vibrant colors. The Always on display feature offers more customizations compared to any other phone. It also has features Insight AOD, Canvas AOD, Bitmoji AOD and Live Wallpaper.

CAMERA

OnePlus 8T has a quad camera system but the camera has been shifted to the left from the middle. The main camera of the smart phone is 48MP with an aperture of f/1.7. The other  camera includes 123 degree ultra wide camera 16MP lens, macro lens of 5MP and monochrome lens of 2MP.

The main camera also has a number of features like CINE Aspect Ratio Video Recording, Video Portrait, UltraShot HDR, Nightscape, Macro, Portrait, Pro Mode, Panorama, Smart Pet Capture, AI Scene Detection, RAW Image, Filter, Video Focus Tracking, Super Stable, Video Nightscape.

The front camera is of 16MP with an aperture of f/2.4. It has various features like Face Unlock, HDR, Screen Flash, Face Retouching. OnePlus has partnered with Bitmoji too to provide its user’s with additional customizable options.

OnePlus 8T supports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. It also has the 5G chipset X55. It is available to us in two different configurations. One is the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and the other is the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has up to 256GB UFS 3.1.

OnePlus 8T also offers a 285% larger vapor chamber. It has a 4,500 mAh non-removable battery. OnePlus 8T 5G supports Warp Charge 65 which will provide the users with a day’s power in just 15 minutes. OnePlus 8T comes with fastest charging ever in a OnePlus device. It also provides a power delivery adapter.

It has a twin battery system and a newly designed power charger. The power charger will be included in the box for free. It has a USB-C port. The charger is so powerful that it can even charge a laptop.

OnePlus 8T like OnePlus 7 Pro has also included a Fnatic mode to provide better gaming experience. Other than this, OnePlus has partnered with Epic Games and the all new OnePlus 8T will support fortnite at 90 fps.

OnePlus 8T has a variety of sensors like In-display Fingerprint Sensor, Accelerometer, Electronic Compass, Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Sensor Core, Flicker-detect Sensor.

OnePlus 8T has a number of other specifications as well. It has dual stereo speakers with Dolby. The company has also included the Zen mode in their latest smart phone, which can now be a group activity with friends.

PRICE

The OnePlus 8T 5G offers two colour and configuration variants. The Smart Phone is available in Lunar Silver and Aquamarine Green.

The 8GB variant costs Rs. 42,999 or $599 and the 12GB variant costs Rs. 45,999 or $699. The OnePlus 8T is now available for pre-order and will be in sales from October 23.
