The tech giant Google has released 2020 flagship phone. The Google Pixel 5 was released on 30th September, 2020 in Google’s ‘Launch Night In’ Event. Google Pixel 5 will provide inbuilt support for all major 5G networks. The new Pixel phone comes alongside the Pixel 4a 5G that’s a 5G version of the Pixel 4a.

Google Pixel 5 runs on Android v10 (Q) OS . It’s Dual SIM slot. In one slot we will put Nano SIM and within the other we will put eSIM. The corporate also unveiled a Portrait Light feature and an Extreme Battery Saver mode (with only a little set of active apps) which will increase battery life by up to 48 hours.


The smart phone also comes with an aluminium body that’s IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The Google Pixel 5 smart phone features a 6.1 inch display. The smart phone features a OLED Display.

The screen features a resolution of 2340 x 1080 in the form of OLED panel. It’s a facet ratio of 19:9 and screen-to-body ratio with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass v5.


Google Pixel 5 Camera

In camera department, Google Pixel 5 features a 13-megapixel camera on the front side and 16-megapixel + 16-megapixel on the rear side with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.


The phone is powered by Octa core (2.4 GHz, Single core, Kryo 475 + 2 GHz, Single core, Kryo 475 + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 475) processor. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Chipset paired with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage. It also includes Titan M security chip.

It is backed by 4080 mAh battery. It supports 18W USB-C fast charging and reverse wireless charging. Noticeably, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack


The Google Pixel 5 cost is probably to be Rs.79,990 or $699. It’s available in black and subtle sage. Google Pixel 5 can now be pre-ordered and can be out by 15th October.
