Redmi Note 9 series launch event will be launched in an online-only event on March 12. The lineup will likely include the vanilla Note 9 and a Pro version. Redmi Note 9 Pro pops up on Geekbench revealing key specs in the process. According to the Geekbench listing Redmi Note 9 Pro (6 GB Ram) run Android 10 and have 6 GB RAM. An unnanounced chipset “curtana” moniker was also listed on this phones Geekbench listing. It scored 569 and 1,755 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests, respectively. We dont know about the full specs of the Redmi Note 9 series, but the company has already confirmed a quad camera setup while teasing “immersive gaming experience” and “unmatched exhilarating fast charging”.
Yesterday, noted tipster Ishan Agarwal gave us some more insights on the hotly anticipated midranger.
In the display department the Redmi Note 9 Pro is expected to feature 6.67″ LCD display of FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. In the camera department, it will come with a 16MP selfie cam while around the back will sit 48MP main shooter, 8MP ultrawide snapper, 5MP macro cam and a depth helper.
The Snapdragon 720G SoC is tipped to sit at the helm with 4/6GB RAM while storage options will be 64GB and 128GB. Battery-wise we should expect a 5,020mAh cell with 18W charging speeds.
