Microsoft is going to unveil new products next month. The event is scheduled for October 2 in New York. Amongst all the devices the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 is one of the expected devices and we have some details that has been recently surfaced online about the PC including one big info.
Winfuture.de reports that while the Surface Laptop series were previously only available with 13.5 inch screen, this time it will be getting a 15-inch version for the very first time. Although, there will still be a 13.5-inch version of the Surface Laptop 3 for those who prefer a smaller display.

But a larger display is not the only biggest change Mircosoft is making to the Surface Laptop line. The German tech blog also reports that the 15-inch version of the Surface Laptop 3 will feature an AMD Ryzen processor! This will be considered a big win for Intel’s rival.
So far, only three AMD-based models of the 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 have been discovered but the exact chipset powering them are still alien to us. There are speculations they may be powered by the Ryzen 3000 series (Ryzen 5 3550H and Ryzen 7 3750H) which also powers Honor’s MagicBook Pro Ryzen Edition which was announced early this month.
There is no confirmation if the 13.5 inch model will be featuring AMD processors or not, so expect an Intel sticker on that model.
The 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 is rumored to also come with a 4K display with Surface Pen support. We also expect it to have a USB-C port this time.
