“While the leaked iPhone 11 live images show a familiar design, the thick bezels around the display leaves us somewhat skeptical”
If renders were not enough for you to believe what the upcoming 2019 iPhones could look like, we may finally have live images of the iPhone 11. The live images of iPhone 11 has been surfaced on Chinese social media site Weibo. The iPhone 11 was expected to launch in september. The design are the same as we have seen in previous renders, down to the triple camera setup on the back. While these images could easily be of a prototype or maybe even the dummy, the ‘Assistive Touch’ on the handset’s screen suggests these could be the real deal.
A virtual home button on the iPhone 11’s display can be witnessed through the leaked image which looks like Apple’s ‘Assistive Touch that lets you control your device and perform gestures such as a pinch, multi-finger swipe, or 3D Touch, and use Siri.
There are noticeable bezels around the screen and a chin that makes us a little skeptical. The top-end iPhones, of late, are known for nearly bezel-less screens — iPhone XR is the one with relatively thick borders. iPhone XR has relatively thick borders. Hence, it is difficult to digest that Apple would leave thicker bezels on the upcoming iPhones.
Apart from that, all the design elements that we could gather from the images are almost the same as specified in the rumours. The fascia has the same notch-toting display as the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. The back panel seems to have the glass finish, with a square-shaped camera module at the top-right corner. This year Apple is rumoured to debut its smartphones, except for iPhone XR successor, with triple cameras, with an ultra-wide-angle lens along with a regular and telephoto lens. The sensors will be accompanied by a quad-LED flash and a secondary microphone for noise cancellation.
